Do you want to make a difference on this campus, gain leadership experience,
and raise cultural awareness? Join the Cultural Events Board! Be a part of a
student-run cost-center that allocates student fee funds to address cultural
voids at CU.
The Cultural Events Board is a student fee funded organization at CU. Our
mission is to provide programming that fulfills cultural voids on campus and
sheds light on underrepresented perspectives. We achieve this in two ways. We
allocate funds to culturally relevant student groups who host events such as
Taste of Africa, Norooz Persian New Year, and Breakin Hip Hop Dance
Competition; and we host our own events with top tier speakers and performers
like Queen Noor of Jordan, Chuck Klosterman, Matisyahu, and DJ Rekha.
