3. Must be able to provide a valid license and car insurance. We ask this because part of volunteering may be transporting girls, and so you can be reimbursed for your mileage! : )
4. Individual must pass our background check and our volunteer interview. This interview and background check is to make sure our girls, staff, and fellow volunteers are safe, and a good fit for our program!
5. Volunteers must be able to drive/ bus to Longmont, where part of the program is housed. BUT there are some Boulder volunteer opportunities.
6. Lastly, the time commitment flexible – mainly -Wednesdays from 3-6:30, either every Wednesday or biweekly. Also opportunities on Fridays and weekends for when the girls attend their volunteer service projects (ex: habitat for humanity, adopt a road, etc.).
If you would love to expose young women to strong, independent, caring and amazing women such as yourselves then email Evy below! Some of the above requirements are flexible, so email and ask if you’re hesitant about something. If you are ready to volunteer there is an attached application to fill it out and email it back to Evalencia@bouldercounty.org or to firstname.lastname@example.org -volunteer coordinator.
Pass this along!
