Emergency Family Assistance Needs Volunteers

Emergency Family Assistance (EFAA) has seen a huge increase in the number of clients that are seeking assistance and to meet that demand, we need more volunteers

Our Boulder office is taking volunteers and interns for all different positions. We take volunteers that need to fulfill hours for a particular class and those who just want to volunteer for fun! And with the upcoming holiday, we have many spots to fill.

These volunteer opportunities range from assisting with a smooth food bank operation, managing walk in clients and their needs, screening clients for eligibility, assisting with the upkeep of our donor and volunteer databases to answering phones, scheduling appointments, or organizing a food drive with their peers. All volunteer positions provide a critical role for us and help us use our donated dollars to serve our families most effectively. A volunteer also walks away with a better understanding of the poverty issues in Boulder and a greater appreciation for humanity. Not to mention something meaningful to put on their resume!

Interested volunteers or interns should fill out a volunteer application at www.efaa.org. Please pass this along to your students. Thank you for your help!
