INVST Community Leadership Program ~ Applications Open

Attention students! Want to learn about social justice & find your community at CU?

INVST is accepting applications … Our deadline is Monday, March 5th!

The INVST Community Leadership Program is a 2-year training experience for students who are interested in social justice & environmental sustainability. Our comprehensive small-group experience combines academics, community service and leadership skills training. INVST provides a sense of community on campus. We offer two summer travel opportunities that allow you to learn about energy & power in the US Southwest, and immigration & economic globalization impacting Central America & the US/Mexico border. And, by participating in INVST you can earn the CU Certificate in the Study & Practice of Leadership.

These financial awards may be available for those who participate in INVST:

AmeriCorps Education Award:  Students admitted to INVST may be eligible to receive an AmeriCorps Education Award for up to $1,175.

— A limited number of scholarships will be granted to those who demonstrate need and are residents of the state of Colorado. The Jim Downton Community Leadership Scholarship of $2,000 towards CU tuition will be awarded to certain individuals who qualify.
