Non-Credit Professional Development for Careers in Environmental Sustainability

the University of Colorado has a nationally-recognized professional development program for sustainability leadership,  available to support you as you prepare to enter the job market. Current University of Colorado students receive a 50% discount off of all classes, which provide networking and skills for students interested in pursuing a career in environmental sustainability. Past CU students who have earned our Certificate in Sustainability Management have met potential employers during class and graduated from CU feeling better qualified to get a great job doing work that they value.

The Sustainable Practices Program is a non-credit professional development program run through the Environmental Center. Most of our students are current professionals who intend to redefine their career towards greater sustainability, but some are in the process of changing professions entirely and must gain the necessary skills for a position as a sustainability coordinator or manager. Each single-day course can be taken individually or towards earning a Certificate in Sustainability Management from the University of Colorado’s Environmental Center. Classes are held every Friday and some are available online. For more information please visit our website at http://sustainable.colorado.edu
