Educating Children of Color Summit!

Purpose: To dismantle the cradle to prison pipeline for children of color, and children in poverty, through education.

The Educating Children of Color Summit

Saturday, January 12, 2013, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Colorado CollegeRegistration is open to high school and college students, parents, and professionals from all walks of life including education, juvenile justice and child welfare, as well as anyone who is committed to the success of our youth. Admission is free for students and parents; $25 for professionals. Everyone planning to attend must register!

The registration money is used to fund our student scholarships. To date, $49,500 in college scholarships has been awarded. 38 laptops have also been distributed.

Juniors, seniors and undergraduates under 21 will be eligible for scholarship money, through drawings and contests. All students under 21 will be eligible for laptop drawings (must be present to win).
