Internship with New Era Colorado (Political and Social Engagement)

Spring 2012 Internship Posting – The deadline for applications is 1/7/13.

New Era Colorado is a non-partisan, non-profit that reinvents politics for Millennials through innovative social and political action. We are building a long-term bloc of engaged and educated young citizens across the state. By creating and advocating forward-thinking solutions, we are transforming not only how politicians will look at us, but also how we look at ourselves. It’s time that we start playing a role in how that future is determined

The internship program will involve learning the tools of social change through political and social engagement. You’ll learn the skills and strategies from New Era staff, politicians, professors, and experts in the field. The focus of the Spring semester internship will be to build community organizing campaigns to impact top-level, state-wide or local, policies.
