Become a GED Tutor for Boulder County Probation

Purpose Statement

The 20th Judicial Boulder County Probation Department is looking for diverse and compassionate educational leaders that have the ability to be consistent in holding Probation clients accountable, while achieving their educational goals.

Minimum Qualifications

Proficient knowledge in basic high school education for tutoring Probation clients in order to help them receive their GED. *The clients you will be working with are reasonably stable and are maintaining sobriety.

Essential Functions

 *Tutor clients one-on-one for the purpose of improving performance and problem solving techniques.

* Tutors will be asked to help keep clients on task and help them achieve a healthy learning environment.

                Proposed hours for client study sessions

•At this time two hour blocks with each client (during 8:00-11:00AM and 1:00 P.M.-5:30 P.M.) on Tuesdays or Thursdays

•All testing and study sessions will be conducted at The Boulder County Probation Department (Boulder and Longmont offices)
