Buffalo Can Challenge

It’s that time of year again and the Volunteer Resource Center has started planning this year’s Buffalo Can Challenge! This year we are trying to make the Buffalo Can Challenge as inclusive as possible, so we are inviting you to participate! The Buffalo Can Challenge is CU’s annual competition organized to raise awareness about hunger in Boulder County and to collect food and resources for Community Food Share, Boulder County’s Food Bank. Registered groups design and build a sculpture out of nonperishable food items to raise awareness about hunger. We would love it if you would pass this information along to your departments, students, or any other groups you think might want to participate! The event will be held on Wednesday, April 17th. If you or anyone else is interested please email vrcevents@colorado.edu by Friday, February 22nd and we will make sure to get you a bin for food collection! If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask.
