Join Out Boulder on July 18 at 5:30 pm for a review of the expected Supreme Court decision on Prop 8 and DOMA. Presented by Larry Hoyt and Jodi Martin, this will be a review of the decision and an opportunity to ask questions about what this may mean to same-sex couples seeking marriage equality. Larry Hoyt, a local attorney who has been in private practice and in government for over 35 years, and Jodi Martin, founding member of the Martin Law Office LLC, and a practicing attorney for over 15 years, present with their combined 50 years of legal expertise.
Finally, also please join me in commemorating the life of Joanne Arnold, one of the founders of the GLBTQ Resource Center and the LGBT Studies Program, as well as a generous donor of scholarships for students at CU-Boulder. Her memorial services will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 1820 15th Street, Boulder, CO at 10:30am. I hope you can come out to honor this wonderful person and activist! She has left an incredible legacy that we will continue to uphold.
