The CU-Boulder Peace Corps Office hopes you had a great summer and
wants to update you on our upcoming Fall 2013 Peace Corps Events.
Here are a few things we have coming up in the next two weeks:
Aug 30 – Priority Deadline
Been working on your application? Want to leave for Peace Corps in
late spring 2014? Get your application in by Aug 30 for priority
Sept 3 – Volunteer Fair
We will be at the fair to talk to students and answer any questions
they might have about Peace Corps or the application Process.
Sept 9th – Peace Corps Masters International Info Session
Grad school or Peace Corps? Why not both! Come learn about Peace Corps
Master’s International on Monday, September 9th, from 6pm-7:30pm in
UMC 425. We will discuss opportunities available through DU, CSU and
CU. There will be FREE PIZZA too

Casa de la Esperanza in Longmont, CO is looking to hire a Volunteer Coordinator!!
The Casa de la Esperanza program was initiated to serve the 100+ children and youth living on site. The program responds to the unique needs of the dozens of farm workers families. Casa de la Esperanza’s educational center is a state of the art learning center providing opportunities and resources toward excellence and self-empowerment through collaboration and programming that nurture each individual’s potential. Our vision is one of a thriving self-sustaining community sharing wisdom to transform society through today and tomorrow’s leaders, honoring those who came before us.
Hours are roughly 4-7 M-Th, and pay is around $15-20/hour.
Latino and bilingual (Spanish/English) encouraged to apply!

This will be a great opportunity to connect with other students, faculty, and campus affiliates;
to learn more about the Women and Gender Studies Program;
and to eat ice cream in the historic Gates Woodruff Cottage!

Welcome back GLBTQ student and Allies! The school year has just begun! Come join us at out Welcome Back Gathering for some outdoor fun in the sun, a umping castle and free food. Reconnect with fellow GLBTQ buffs and allies.

Students, The Diversity Abroad Go Global Tour is coming to campus! Diversity Abroad, based in California, works to ensure students from diverse backgrounds have equal access and take advantage of the benefits afforded through global education. A representative be on campus for the annual fall study abroad fair and host a presentation open to all students, staff, & faculty.
