Internship Opportunities with Americas Latino Festival ~ Amazing Presenters & Panelists Involved!

Americas Latino Festival will be held on campus and throughout Boulder and Denver in November of 2013.

The mission of the festival is to create a platform of dialogue between the Latino and non-Latino communities around issues of environmental and social justice in the Americas. Panel series, film forums, concerts, education outreach, and a CU Student Showcase will be the main components of the festival. This is an exciting, innovative event that is being attended by several high profile supporters such as Shakira, Benicio del Toro, Laura Esquivel, Edward James Olmos, Junot Diaz, and Chief Justice Sonia Sotomayor (to name a few!).

The Latin American Studies Center has set up an internship program with the Americas Latino Festival and the festival’s local strategic partners. Students who would be interested in a career-oriented internship that engages with environmental and social justice, should contact Rebecca.Kennedy@colorado.edu immediately.
