CU Student Government (CUSG) is looking for 5 student volunteers to serve as voting members on the CUSG Diversity Commission. The Diversity Commission is a legislative board dedicated to ensuring that diversity is encouraged, celebrated, and respected on campus. It will advocate for the needs and concerns of underrepresented students on campus. The board will take an approach that is cognizant of people of color, ethnic identity, religious affiliation, disability status, sexuality, gender identity, socioeconomic background, and any other identity which may be marginalized in U.S. society. Students participating in the diversity commission will develop and pass legislation with the goal of promoting inclusion, equity, diversity, and social justice at CU Boulder.
This is a wonderful opportunity to gain legislative and advocacy experience, and a great chance to have a positive and real impact on CU’s campus.
