Global Careers and International Students

Throughout the year, Career Services and other departments on campus collaborate to provide a package of events for students interested in going abroad for a short-term job and/or long-term career.  Events in the past include a panel of individuals who have taught English abroad,  a panel of professionals with international careers, a workshop on how to write an international resume, and more. Are you interested in finding opportunities to go abroad? There are many options for working, teaching, and volunteering abroad and several steps to consider before you go. It is never too early to start planning, so check out the following resource on campus by clicking on this link http://careerservices.colorado.edu/students/goInternational.aspx.

Throughout the year, Career Services plans two or three events specific to your needs as an international student. Events in the past include a panel of alumni discussing their job search success, a workshop on how to write a resume, the ins and outs of visas presented by immigration lawyers, and more. As an international student, your job search will be a little bit more challenging than the average student’s. However, Career Services can help you navigate the U.S. job market in order to increase your success in finding a job or internship.
