Don’t miss Resumes That Rock! Learn how to write a resume and cover letter that will get noticed. During the workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to write or update your resume and ask your resume and cover letter specific questions. This workshop is tailored for undergraduate students. You’ll also learn tips to maximizing your experience at the upcoming Career & Internship Fair.
As a result of attending this workshop, you will be able to:
-explain what information to include and what to leave out in a high quality resume and cover letter
-know the process to create a tailored resume and cover letter
-feel confident about submitting tailored marketing materials for jobs and internships
Recruiters Tell All – Wednesday, 1/22/2014, 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm in C4C S350
Recruiters share their preferences and pet peeves about resumes, cover letters, networking and career fair etiquette, interviews, and job offers (i.e., common mistakes applicants make during the job search process).
Bring all questions! Panelists share their insights regarding specific topics, but most of the time is spent as a Q&A session.

Spring Career and Internship Fair –Tuesday, 1/28/2014 and Wednesday, 1/29/2014, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm in UMC Ballrooms
CU-Boulder students, if you’re looking to find your dream job or internship, then be sure to check out the Spring Career and Internship Fair! This is the largest career fair on campus during spring semester. Whether you’re looking for that first job after graduation, a summer internship, interested in exploring new career options, or you simply want to network and make new connections, the Spring Fair is the place to be.
Utilize your Career Buffs account (https://fedauth.colorado.edu/idp/Authn/UserPassword) to learn more about the employers attending and the positions they’re hiring for. Come prepared with resumes and business cards (if you have them) but know that many employers today ask that their applicants apply online. Make sure to dress appropriately in business or business casual because first impressions make a big impact on potential new employers.
CU-Boulder students and alumni from all majors, experience levels and backgrounds are welcome to attend this FREE event. No pre-registration is necessary.
