SORCE presents the Women of Color and Men of Color Leadership Institute. This is an opportunity for students to actualize the leadership potential of who they are as a woman, man or transgender/gender-queer individual who, also, self-identifies as a member of one or more community of color, i.e., African American, African, Asian, Asian American, American Indian, Latina/o, Middle Eastern and multicultural communities.
An essential component of SORCE’s Women of Color and Men of Color Leadership Institute is the strengthening of personal relationships and community connections and the development of leadership and community philosophies, strategies, and achievement that are most relevant within and for the communities of color.

The Women and Men of Color Institute participants will meet every other week for one hour during the semester (October-December 2012). The date/time for these sessions will be determined with the group at the first meeting on October 10th.
